OUR 2025 SUMMER SHOWCASE WILL

BE BASED ON THE AMAZING

ALADDIN titled...

'ALADDIN'S LUCK'

Our Summer Showcase is a fun filled 5 days that caters for all abilities and focuses on developing your child’s aptitude in the three main genres of performance; Acting, Dancing and Singing in a live theatre space. We create our own story based on the wonderful Musical chosen, and our main focus is to make each and every child shine like the star they are!

All disciplines will be delivered by Professional Performers who will be working with the students toward a two-act show which will be performed on the Friday at the Hampton Hill Theatre. Parents, family and friends are invited with each child attending receiving 2 free tickets for the show; additional tickets are charged at £5.

There will also be interval where our annual Sponsorship Fund Raffle will be drawn. Prizes for this Raffle include free placements in all our classes as well as fantastic prizes from amazing sponsors in the area. Prizes include theatre tickets, swimming lessons, party bundles, restaurant vouchers and more!

The raffle raises money for our Sponsorship Fund.

More details on this fund can be found here.

All the children receive a Summer Showcase T-Shirt & certificate for taking part, as well as a life-long memory of working on such a fantastic Musical. We are hoping to record the show and a copy will be available to purchase at £5 with all proceeds going to the Sponsorship Fund.

Either way if your child is new to the Arts or has plentiful experience then please sign them up for a fun and enjoyable time with Boundless where experience isn't necessary but a love to learn, perform and get creative is.

WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE SUMMER SHOWCASE MON-THURS?

Our Summer Showcase day runs from 10am-3pm (registration from 9.50am). Everyday your child

will experience an hour of Acting, Dancing and Singing during the morning and come together

in the afternoon to work as a whole company and put the Musical together. Within the day is

also a lunchtime and a small snack break. During the morning the children are split into three

groups (dependent on age) and they will stay in these groups throughout their creative

time with us. During the afternoon we will mix groups and rehearse the show.

If your child wishes to be in the same group as their friend then please let us know.

WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE SUMMER SHOWCASE ON FRIDAY (Show Day)?

Arrival is the same as above and the morning works similarly: we also manage to do

two runs of the show before lunchtime. The children will then prepare for their performance and await the audience to fill the auditorium. For the performance the doors will open at 1pm

and the show goes up at 1.15pm (it will be finished by 3pm which includes a small presentation at the end). Please note, each child will be allocated 2 free tickets for the performance, each additional ticket is priced at £5, this money goes towards the Sponsorship Fund.

We will dismiss your child as previously done so that week.

WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR TO THE SUMMER SHOWCASE?

Please make sure your child’s attire is something they can move easily in; if dresses are

worn please make sure shorts are worn underneath. Footwear should be appropriate for

dancing in: no flip flops and loose fitting shoes please. On the show day your child should wear their Summer Showcase T-Shirt and appropriate footwear.

WHAT ELSE WILL MY CHILD NEED?

Your child will require a packed lunch (no nuts) and soft drink, preferably in a bottle that can be filled with water throughout the day; no glass bottles to be brought onto the premises. A pen or pencil

would also be a great idea if they wish to make notes in their scripts.
